Leg 5: Six Teams

To reiterate, here are the results of Leg 5:

1st Place: The Blue Team (08:58:59)
2nd Place: The White Team (09:07:04)
3rd Place: The Yellow Team (09:13:25)
4th Place: The Gold Team (09:15:21)
5th Place: The Green Team (09:17:25)
6th Place: The Orange Team (09:18:26)

The first place team gets to steal a key from any team possessing more than one. The winners this round were the Blue Team, congrats Brent and Brian!

During the upcoming voting period, please choose if you would like to steal a key from one of the other teams. Since no team can possess less than one key, your options are limited to: the Orange Team, the Gold Team, or no team at all. If you choose to steal a key, this means that you get to cast three votes in the upcoming elimination. Please keep this in mind. Your decision will be revealed immediately before the voting results are on Wednesday.

The three last teams to arrive are all nominated for dissolution from the Tontine. This means that the Gold Team[/i], Green Team[/i], and Orange Team[/i] have all been nominated for elimination.

Everyone, it is now your chance to decide which team stays and which team goes. You have until Wednesday at 7:05 PM EST to post in your team board Voting History thread which team you want eliminated, with reasons please.

For teams that have more than one key, I will assume that all of your votes are for the same team unless you specify otherwise. If you do decide to split your vote amongst more than one team, please specify which vote would want to "void" in the event that the Blue Team steals one of your keys.

Remember, if you do not vote, I will refer to your default voting list.

The results of the vote will be revealed Wednesday night at 9:05 PM EST. The eliminated team will then have 24 hours until the next leg to decide which team to give their keys to and which team to Speed Bump.

Hopefully, we will not have a tie. But, if we do, there will be a re-vote between the two tied parties that will take place until Thursday. If we do have a tie, the tied teams will also need to prepare to whom they are giving their keys and which team they choose to Speed Bump; these will be due along with their re-vote decisions.

I hope to see many of you Wednesday night. It will be announced later, but, as mentioned earlier, there is a possibility that Bonus Bucks Challenge 6 will take place on Wednesday, as well.

As revealed live in chat this evening:

The Blue Team, as leg winners, chose to steal the Black key from the Orange Team, returning their total to two keys, while Blue jumps to four.

Then, all teams locked in their votes for which team, among Gold, Green[/b], and Orange[/b], was to be dissolved from the Tontine.

Green received 0 votes.
Gold received 2 votes.
Orange received 9 votes.

And with that, unfortunately, The Orange Team, Ryan and Ty, have been eliminated, and dissolved from the Tontine. Thanks for playing, guys.

However, before leaving, you still get to leave your last will and testament, Good Karma and Bad Karma to influence the teams remaining in the game. You have one key, you can leave that to any team still in the race. Also, you can choose one team to force to complete the Speed Bump next leg. Choose wisely, and leave your decisions along with any final words in the Departing Words board.

Ryan and Ty have decided to leave Good Karma, with their Orange key going to the Green Team and their Bronze key going to the Yellow Team, while choosing to force Bad Karma and the Speed Bump upon no team.
