WE SURVIVED!!! BAHAHAHAHA

We crafted quick alliances that we really have no intention on honouring.

Blue Brian is so snakey, you can just tell by the way that he talks to you that he's so desperate to get into everyone's good graces. He claims he also has no other alliances, but that is a bold-faced lie. I mean, Brian is someone who, if we IM and he doesn't respond right away, he'll take the prerogative to send a Private Message on the board to apologize for not responding. To have that much concern over what people think of you in the game is a fault for him at this point.

That is not to say that I don't appreciate his help in keeping us this Round. But I will give more credit to Elbert and I aggressively befriending his ass and making it in his perceived best interests to keep us around.

On a personal level, I do like Gold David a lot more. We have that Canadian connection going, and he's all around a more cool guy than Brian.

Yellow Alex is also in our good graces, by virtue of being the only other Asian in this game, HAHAHA. We are racist like that. Not really. But we have known Alex the longest of everyone else here - Elbert, Alex and I go back 6 years... back when Elbert and I were still relative ORG virgins, and when we still had the innocence of high schoolers. Those were good memories, but it also serves as a reminder of just how jaded and embittered we are now, as we prepare to enter the work force, or pursue professional health programs.

I am going to make a concerted effort to be more positive around my partner hahaha. ELBERT, THAT'S YOUR CUE TO PROMISE THE SAME THING.

I just want to forget this leg and be done with it.

We did...horrendous...

People beat us to the punch with the first picture challenge, on two separate occasions. So much wasted time lost right there, and we were never able to recover from that deficit.

So alas, we again land in the bottom three. There is a gigantic BUT, however.

Powerhouse ORANGE somehow squandered their way into last place. JOY! BLISS, BLISS!

I mean, we can't be the only team that recognizes them as supreme threats, right? We HAVE to be safe this round, right?

Especially considering our newfound "friends" with Blue and Gold.

And Yellow is our friend too, even though they only constitute one vote. I'm pretty sure Alex is tight with me, regardless of how much Mike distrusts me. I don't know what it is, but Mike and I just don't click. I've been trying to make some effort into befriending him, but I can tell Mike just doesn't like me for whatever reason. He always seems reserved, distracted and disinterested, and I know he's just talking to me for the sake of talking to me.

Hmm... actually, now that I think about it more, that probably more accurately describes my frame of mind when speaking to him... and Mike, in turn, probably senses my reluctance and trepidation, and reciprocates it, thus forming a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Whatever - some people just don't click for whatever reason. In the end, Yellow will keep us.

And so will Blue and Gold. Especially over Orange.

Horrendous is an understatement for how we did this leg. I'm so embarrassed by it.

That drawing task was so frustrating. My first two drawings were rejected. My camel drawing would have owned!! So much time was wasted in this task. At least we won the best drawing. ;D That's the only positive I'm taking away from this leg, haha.

No words can express how I felt when it was revealed that Orange was the last team at the pit stop. I like to think of it as retribution for posting that disgusting castle less than a minute before mine.

Our actual reaction to finding out Orange was last place was a lot different. We were both webcamming during the leg, as well as when the results were being read.

When Host Ryan said that Orange was last, Elbert did some rapid, ecstatic clapping, while I started jumping up and down. We both had goofy grins on our faces, and we were both repeating "YES YES YES" over and over.
