To reiterate, here are the results of Leg 3:
1st Place: The Orange Team (09:04:12)
2nd Place: The Black Team (08:57:44) Fast Pass
3rd Place: The Green Team (09:07:41)
4th Place: The White Team (09:15:31)
5th Place: The Blue Team (09:20:19)
6th Place: The Gold Team (10:27:42)
7th Place: The Yellow Team (11:48:18)
8th Place: The Silver Team (did not complete)
The leg winners were the Orange Team, congratulations Ryan and Ty!
Now, per the rules of Tontine, the three teams that take the longest to complete the leg are nominated for dissolution from the Tontine, with the group voting to eliminate one of them. However, if one or more teams fail to complete the entire leg, then only that or those teams will be nominated.
In the case today, the only team to not complete the leg was the Silver Team. And, as the only team nominated, they are, by default, the recipients of all available votes.
With that, unfortunately, The Silver Team, Bryan and Mitch, have been eliminated, and dissolved from the Tontine. Thanks for playing, guys.
However, before leaving, you still get to leave your last will and testament, Good Karma and Bad Karma to influence the teams remaining in the game. You have one key, you can leave that to any team still in the race. Also, you can choose one team to force to complete the Speed Bump next leg. Choose wisely, and leave your decisions along with any final words in the Departing Words board.
